Want to see a team get dominated Geltzlaf by and a group of speedy, small wingers (lwd by Silf) - get ready for an ass kicking tonight. I'm going 6-1 Anaheim.
I'll say this will be Ottawas worst neutral zone game of the season
Paul Maclean coaches the forwards in Anaheim, and you see the guys they've picked up - McGinn and Pirri - a big LW and a rugged center, two players who would look amazing in Ottawa right now.
Anyways, start drinking early |

Wel...that was a depressing blog. Nice to remember some great hockey was once played in Ottawa. |

Any confirmation on the goalie matchup tonight? |

Sens think Colin White makes the team next year. Contract could be done by the end of April. |

Ryan's reason for another late season slump:
'I'm playing less on a worse team'
Okay!
He seems totally okay being on the 4th line, it's almost like he wears it as a badge of honour like the coach wants him there. Mark Stone is getting top minutes, but Ryan thinks his roll is to work with SCott Gomez to better manage the puck.
Holy Crap, this guy could be assigned to play in China and he'd be like 'everythings great, playing with some new guys' |

I'm trying to keep my expectations low on White. He seems to be getting quite a bit of praise as a potential top 6 Center in The Show but it's still to difficult to say at this point.

Ryan could work his a$$ off and he'd still blow chunks because Camoron has him on that line with Gomez and ? (the latest flavor).
If you want top scorers to produce, put them with line mates that should actually be playing in the NHL!
Playing Gomez at all is a f**king joke!!!! For that alone, Camoron (spelling intended) has to go. |

The positive for Sens fans
Mark Stone: No doubt imo he was having a sophomore slump for a while. Now he's 19th in NHL scoring between Stamkos and Hall. In this year, without Turris for a full season, shows me this guy is a gamer and needs to be signed for 8 years next summer.
Mike Hoffman: Tied for 39th in scoring, close to touching 30 goals. IF he does hit 30, then that's perfect trade bait. Me personally you don't HAVE To trade him but I think his commitment + ability to becoming a complete player is very much in question. Vanek is a guy that was great offensively but then dipped. It wouldn't surprise me that if Hoffman in 2-3 years isn't scoring 25.
Bobby Ryan: Rounding out the top 40/41 in league scoring is a guy that many forget hasn't found a legit + consistent center to play with. He and Spezza never found chemistry but if you give him Turris for 82 games, I doubt he's anything less than 30g. Zibanejad HAS to step up or be traded. Good to have 3 guys that are legit top 6 forwards. |

Ottawa fans: You should be scared tonight. You need a loss badly. But not one California team has won lately. They're all trying to minimize travel and avoid the possibility of playing Chicago in the first round. The Ducks will lay down and die for you tonight. And no one will likely convince your players to score less than the Ducks will allow. Your chance at Austen Matthews will decrease tonight. |

What a stupid comment. Yeah, that's what the teams are doing. Thank god this guy isn't a pro athlete. |
